This is quite an adventure, and your reports are so detailed they´re a pleasure to read. I´ve been thinking about the facing being a separate piece or not, my purchased coats have all a separate piece. Could it be because it´s easy to assemble this way? I mean, the sewing line is more accurate and the facing lies flat when it folds back.
